American Building Contractors, Inc is a family owned and operated.  And for over a decade we have been building, remodeling and renovating. With over 30 years combined experience from brothers, Christopher and Curtis. We have what it takes turn your dreams into reality.

Any project, a remodel or addition of any size, can be overwhelming to the uninitiated home owner. American Building Contractors, Inc will give you a fair assessment and estimate of your project.

What we will do for you:

• Work from your plans or sketches and ideas.
• Design and plan the project together if you so choose.
• Assist you with establishing a budget.
• Assist you with choosing grade appropriate materials.
• Obtain permits.

Christopher Peron, 18 years experience

I am Florida born native that grew up in the small southwest coastal town of Port Charlotte. Not sure what I wanted to do after high school. So I attended the local vocational school for Automotive Technology. Still unsure a career as a mechanic was what I wanted to do. It was not until I was 21, when my younger brother Curtis suggested I ask his boss for a job. My brother, working for a very small construction company specializing in finish carpentry, I was hired and that was my introduction into a trade I have become to love and enjoy. Have worked very hard learning carpentry ever since. Both rough framing and finish carpentry.

In September of 2006 I obtained my Charlotte County Licensing Certificate of Competency and used it for framing homes in North Port & Port Charlotte along with interior finish trim. Battling the housing market collapse, I’ve since worked in Charlotte and Lake Lure, NC, Marietta, OH, and Parkersburg, WV, all the while gaining experience, honing my skills, and broadening my areas of discipline.

Curtis Peron, 20 years experience

Curtis attended local vocational school for carpentry.

He started carpentry right out of high school. He has become a great carpenter.
